PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preferably reinforce a connection part where a vertically placed column part and a horizontally placed beam part in a concrete bridge pier are joined to each other.SOLUTION: In a reinforcing method, engaging members which engage a column engaging part stood from a connecting engagement part engaging with a connection position of a column part and a beam part with corner parts of the column part and engage a beam engaging part horizontally placed from the connecting engagement part with corner parts of the beam part, are arranged to respective connection positions of an upper right, an upper left, a lower left and a lower right of the of a connection part, the upper right and the upper left column engaging parts are connected with upper column fastening members so as to surround the column part to apply tension, and the lower right and the lower left column engaging parts are connected with lower column fastening members so as to surround the column part to apply tension, and an upper right, an upper left, a lower left and a lower right beam engaging parts are connected with beam fastening members so as to surround the beam part to apply tension.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3A
