FUNCTIONAL LAYER CONTAINING LAYERED DOUBLE HYDROXIDE AND COMPOSITE MATERIAL
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layered double hydroxide-containing organic layer having enhanced strength and a composite material containing the same.SOLUTION: There are provided a functional layer 14 containing a layered double hydroxide and a composite material 10 having average pore rate of 1 to 40%, average pore diameter of 100 nm or less, preferably average pore rate of 1 to 38% and average pore diameter of 10 to 50 nm. There are provided the functional layer 14 which is a layered double hydroxide (LDH)-containing organic layer and has enhanced strength while maintaining high compactness, a porous substrate 12, and the composite material 10 incorporated on the porous substrate 12 or in the porous substrate 12. There is provided a battery having the functional layer 14 or the composite material 10 as a separator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
