PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive steel composite member and manufacturing method therefor, capable of efficiently integrating a steel member and wooden member.SOLUTION: A composite member 100 comprising a steel member 16; and a wooden member 18A arranged closely to the steel member 16 comprises a connection member 26 whose tip side is arranged so as to be screwed and inserted into the wooden member 18A from a through hole 22 provided on the steel member 16 to integrally fix the steel member 16 and wooden member 18A. The connection member 26 is a rod-like body having a sharp tip and a thread groove formed on a peripheral surface on the tip side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
