PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce wasteful power consumption of a battery.SOLUTION: A door operating device 10 comprises door driving means 18 which can open/close a door 4, detecting means 12 for detecting an object to be detected, collating means 17 for performing first authentication, a judging part 23 for judging whether the object to be detected performs the set operation or not, and controlling means 20 for driving the door driving means 18. When an authentication result of disapproval by the collating means 17 continues, the controlling means 20 stops execution of the first authentication while making detection of the object to be detected by the detecting means 12 and judgement of operation by the judging part 23 continue.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
