PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fulfill a demand to improve the usage efficiency of a charging station for charging electric automobiles.SOLUTION: A charging system includes: a mobile body management part for managing a charge state of a battery of the mobile body; and a standby space management part for managing a usage state of plural standby spaces for mobile bodies to stand by. Further, the standby space management part includes: a standby space determination part for determining a standby space for a charging-completed mobile body to stand by from among the plural standby spaces managed by the standby space management part in a case where the mobile body management part detects that (i) charging of a mobile body is started, (ii) charging of a mobile body has been started, (iii) charging of a mobile body is completed, or (iv) charging of a mobile body has been completed; and standby instruction transmission part for transmitting, to a mobile body, a standby instruction for causing a charging-completed mobile body to move from a charging position to the standby space determined by the standby space determination part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
