PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology easy in practical application of a pray material and a spray method, which have sufficient usable life of mortar (concrete) and excellent short period strength development even in a spray method that uses a liquid rapid hardening agent having low short term strength development.SOLUTION: A spray material obtained by combining the following component (A) and component (B). (A) mortar including: (a1) cement; (a2) alkali metal sulfate; and (a3) one obtained by including 0.1 part by mass or more in terms of the solid of a water reducing agent containing a polycarboxylic acid system high molecule compound having a weight average molecular weight (Mw) in terms of polyethylene oxide measured by gel permeation chromatography of 10,000 to 50,000, and a Z average molecular weight (Mz) of smaller than 100,000 relative to 100 parts by mass of cement, and the (B) being a liquid rapid hardening agent having aluminum sulfate as an effective component.SELECTED DRAWING: None
