LEAD-FREE PIEZOELECTRIC CERAMIC COMPOSITION AND PIEZOELECTRIC ELEMENT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead-free piezoelectric ceramic composition having a high piezoelectric constant dand a high electromechanical coupling coefficient kr, and to provide a piezoelectric element.SOLUTION: In a lead-free piezoelectric ceramic composition having, as a main phase, alkali niobium oxide-based perovskite oxide having a piezoelectric characteristic, and containing Ti, a mol ratio (Na/(Na+K)) for Na and K in the main phase is 0.50≤(Na/(Na+K))≤0.60. In the main phase, when a face formed from four oxygen atoms in a direction perpendicular to a c-axis of an oxygen octahedron of a perovskite structure is observed along a b-axis direction, a coupling angle O-B-O formed by a B-site atom and oxygen atoms is 170.0 to 172.5 degrees. In addition, a relation between a distance between a straight line and the oxygen atom on one side of the B-site atom located in the c-axial direction and a distance between the straight line and the oxygen atom on the other side is (β/α)-1≤0.05, with respect to a straight line connecting the oxygen atoms on both the sides of the B-site atom forming the coupling angle O-B-O.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】 高い圧電定数d33及び電気機械結合係数krを有する無鉛圧電磁器組成物及び圧電素子を提供すること。【解決手段】 圧電特性を有するニオブ酸アルカリ系ペロブスカイト酸化物を主相とし、Tiを含有する無鉛圧電磁器組成物であって、主相におけるNaとKとのモル比(Na/(Na+K))が、0.50≦(Na/(Na+K))≦0.60である。主相は、ペロブスカイト構造の酸素八面体のc軸に対して垂直方向の4つの酸素原子で構成される面をb軸方向に沿って観察したとき、Bサイト原子と酸素原子とのなす結合角O−B−Oが、170.0〜172.5度である。さらに、結合角O−B−OをなすBサイト原子の両側の酸素原子同士を結ぶ直線に対して、c軸方向に位置するBサイト原子の一方の酸素原子と直線との間の距離と、他方の酸素原子と直線との間の距離と、の関係が、(β/α)−1≦0.05である。【選択図】 図3
