SHAPE VARIABLE FRAME BODY AND SHAPE VARIABLE SOLID STRUCTURE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape variable frame body and a shape variable solid structure of which shape can be changed in response to a telescopic action of telescopic arms.SOLUTION: A shape variable frame comprises telescopic arms A, B, C and D constituting each side of polygonal frame and corner members 10 located in at least two corners of the polygonal frame. Each of the telescopic arms includes several cross units 1 having two rigid members crossed in an X-shape form that are pivotally connected through central connecting shafts 2 and the end part connecting portions rotatably connecting the end portions of the adjoining cross units 1. The end part connecting portions include inside end connecting shafts 3 located inside the frame and outside end connecting shafts 4 located outside. The corner members 10 have the first guiding portions 13 for use in guiding the several inside end connecting shafts 3 of the first telescopic arms A in a straight-line manner along a length direction of the side, and the second guiding portions 14 for use in guiding several inside end connecting shafts 3 of the second telescopic arms B in a straight-line manner along a side length direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
