MANUFACTURING METHOD OF CERAMIC MATRIX COMPOSITE MATERIAL
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of ceramic matrix composite material capable of simplifying its manufacturing process, by which a product hardly causing strength reduction can be produced.SOLUTION: This invention provides a manufacturing method for a ceramic matrix composite material, in which the ceramic matrix composite material has woven fabrics 1 comprising a plurality of fiber bundles 2 and sizing material 4 coating the peripheries of the fiber bundles, and a matrix 3 disposed in the gaps between fibre bundles. The manufacturing method for the ceramic matrix composite material comprises an element assembly forming step which forms the element assemblies by impregnating the woven fabrics 1 with a polymer as precursor of the matrix 3, and a densification step in which the element assemblies are further impregnated with the polymer, and thereafter densified by calcination, in which the element assembly forming step includes an interface layer forming step which forms the interface layer 4 on the fiber bundles 2 by modification of the sizing material by heating the woven fabrics 1 under nitrogen atmosphere.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
