COMPOSITION FOR GLASS FIBER, GLASS FIBER, GLASS FIBER-CONTAINING COMPOSITE MATERIAL CONTAINING GLASS FIBER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF GLASS FIBER
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for glass fiber having high elasticity modulus, good in productivity and further capable of easily manufacturing a glass fiber with fine count.SOLUTION: There is provided a composition for glass fiber containing, by mass% in terms of oxide, SiO:50 to 70%, AlO:15 to 25%, MgO:3 to 13%, CaO:3 to 15%, BO:0.5 to 5% as a glass composition, and having temperature difference ΔTxy between molding temperature Tx and liquid phase temperature Ty of 90°C or more, molding temperature Tx of 1365°C or less, elastic modulus E of 90 GPa or more, and linear thermal expansion coefficient α of 45×10or less. There is provided a composition for glass fiber having a shape of a product of chopped strand, yarn or roving and compounded with concrete or mortar.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】高い弾性率を有し、生産性が良好であり、更に細番手のガラス繊維の製造も容易にできるようなガラス繊維用組成物の提供。【解決手段】ガラス組成として、酸化物換算の質量%表示で、SiO2:50〜70%、Al2O3:15〜25%、MgO:3〜13%、CaO:3〜15%、B2O3:0.5〜5%を含有し、成形温度Txと液相温度Tyとの温度差ΔTxyが90℃以上であり、成形温度Txが1365℃以下であり、弾性率Eが90GPa以上であり、線熱膨張係数αが45×10−7/℃以下であるガラス繊維用組成物。製品の形態が、チョップドストランド、ヤーン又はロービングであり、コンクリート又はモルタルと複合されてなる、ガラス繊維用組成物。【選択図】なし
