MANUFACTURING METHOD OF UNIDIRECTIONAL CARBON FIBER-REINFORCED CARBON COMPOSITE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply and uniformly manufacturing a 1D-C/C composite which has excellent heat conductivity and a wider heat transfer area.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a unidirectional carbon fiber-reinforced carbon composite performs sequentially: a filling process which fills a box-shaped container with staple fiber bundles of a sizing agent-treated carbon fiber in such a manner that the fiber longitudinal direction of the carbon fiber constituting the staple fiber bundles is in parallel with the vertical direction to the bottom face of the box-shaped container, followed by removing the sizing agent; a carbonizing process which impregnates a thermosetting resin into the staple fiber bundles in the box-shaped container, followed by heating/curing the thermosetting resin to obtain a thermosetting molding, and then carbonizes by heating the thermosetting molding to obtain a carbonized product; and a graphitizing process which graphitizes by firing the obtained carbonized product at 2700°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】伝熱性に優れ、伝熱面積の広い1D−C/C複合材を、簡便かつ均質に製造する方法の提供。【解決手段】一方向性炭素繊維強化炭素複合材を製造する方法であって、サイジング剤処理した炭素繊維の短繊維束を、箱状容器の底面に対し垂直な方向と上記短繊維束を構成する炭素繊維の繊維長さ方向が並行になるように、前記箱状容器内に充填した後、サイジング剤を除去する充填工程、前記箱状容器内に熱硬化性樹脂を含浸させ、次いで当該熱硬化性樹脂を加熱硬化して熱硬化成形物を得た後、前記熱硬化成形物を加熱し炭素化して炭素化物を得る炭素化工程、および得られた炭素化物を2700℃で焼成処理して黒鉛化する黒鉛化工程を順次施す、一方向性炭素繊維強化炭素複合材の製造方法。【選択図】なし
