PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device capable of performing exact information display in accordance with outside meteorological conditions.SOLUTION: An information display device 1 includes: a display unit 2; a display controller 5 for controlling content of display information displayed on the display unit 2; and a visibility range detector 4 for detecting visibility around the display unit. The display controller 5 switches display information of the display unit 2 based on detection results of the visibility range detector 4, and gradually decreases an amount of display information for poor field of view and increases brightness as detected visibility decreases.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】屋外の気象条件に応じた的確な情報表示が可能な情報表示装置を提供する。【解決手段】表示部２と、表示部２に表示される表示情報の内容を制御する表示制御部５と、表示部周辺の視程を検出する視程検出部４とを備え、表示制御部５は視程検出部４の検出結果に基づき、表示部２の表示情報を切り替え、また検出される視程が低下するにつれて視界不良時用の表示情報の情報量を段階的に低減するとともに、輝度を上昇させる情報表示装置１である。【選択図】図１
