PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system for a foreign matter removal device, a foreign matter removal system, and a method for monitoring the foreign matter removal device.SOLUTION: A monitoring system for a foreign matter removal device is arranged in the foreign matter removal device 2 that comprises a generator 21 for producing compressed gas, a retainer 22 for internally retaining the produced compressed gas, and an injector 23 for removing foreign matter from a track branch section by emitting a jet of the retained compressed gas. The monitoring system includes pressure detection means 32 for detecting pressure within the retainer, and failure omen determination means 31 for determining the presence or absence of an omen of a failure in the foreign matter removal device on the basis of the detected pressure within the retainer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
