PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement dispersion improving agent that can be blended in a cement composition to sufficiently improve the dispersibility of the cement composition even with the amount of use of water-reducing agent reduced, and provide a cement composition having sufficiently improved dispersibility even with the amount of use of water-reducing agent reduced.SOLUTION: A cement dispersion improving agent is blended in a cement composition to improve the dispersibility of the cement composition. The cement dispersion improving agent contains a polycarboxylic acid copolymer that has a structural unit (I) derived from an unsaturated polyalkylene glycol ether monomer (a) represented by a specific general formula and a structural unit (II) derived from an unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer (b) represented by a specific general formula. Relative to all the structural units of the polycarboxylic acid copolymer, a content of the structural unit (I) is 34 mol% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】セメント組成物中に含有させることによって、減水剤の使用量を減らしてもセメント組成物の分散性を十分に高めることができる、セメント分散性向上助剤を提供する。また、減水剤の使用量を減らしても分散性が十分に高いセメント組成物を提供する。【解決手段】本発明のセメント分散性向上助剤は、セメント組成物中に含有させることによって該セメント組成物の分散性を向上させるセメント分散性向上助剤であって、特定の一般式で表される不飽和ポリアルキレングリコールエーテル系単量体（ａ）由来の構造単位（Ｉ）と特定の一般式で表される不飽和カルボン酸系単量体（ｂ）由来の構造単位（ＩＩ）とを有するポリカルボン酸系共重合体を含み、該ポリカルボン酸系共重合体を構成する全構造単位に対する該構造単位（Ｉ）の含有割合が３４モル％以上である。【選択図】なし
