PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an innovative road reflecting mirror which has light emitting means used as presence recognition means allowing presence thereof to be recognized even in situations where a surrounding becomes dark to make presence thereof difficult to recognize; in which the light emitting means can be easily designed with an extremely simple structure; and which is capable of being manufactured at a low cost as its spontaneous luminescence makes an electricity supply source unnecessary.SOLUTION: A road reflecting mirror, installed at an intersection or before a curve, which allows the visual confirmation of a state in a blind-spot direction from the front is provided with a peripheral cover 4 over the whole circumference of a peripheral portion 3 of a reflecting mirror body 2 having a reflective surface 1. The peripheral cover 4 is made of a synthetic resin containing a luminous material, and configure to emit a light when the surrounding becomes dark.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】周囲が暗くなりその存在の認識が困難な状況になっても、その存在を認識させることができる存在認識手段としての発光手段を有するとともに、この発光手段が極めて簡易な構成で容易に設計実現可能であり、しかも、自発発光により電気供給源が不要で安価に製造可能となる画期的な道路反射鏡を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】交差点やカーブ手前に設置され、死角となる方向の様子を手前から視認することができる道路反射鏡において、鏡面部1を有する反射鏡本体部2の周縁部3の全周に亘って周縁カバー部4が設けられており、この周縁カバー部4は、蓄光材を含有した合成樹脂からなり、周囲が暗くなると発光するように構成されている道路反射鏡。【選択図】図2
