PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative pressure wave generator which can effectively reduce a micro barometric wave.SOLUTION: A negative pressure wave generator 1 reduces the pressure of a micro barometric wave radiated from a mine mouth 21 of a tunnel 2 by means of a negative pressure wave, and includes a vacuum container 11 which is arranged in the vicinity of the mine mouth 21 and adjacent to a rail 31 on which a train 3 travels or between a plurality of laid rails 31 and which can be brought into a vacuum state inside thereof, and a first opening 12 provided in a side of a generation source Cof the micro barometric wave in the vacuum container 11, and a valve body 13 which can open and close the first opening 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
