METHOD FOR INSTALLING FLOORING MATERIAL
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation method which can attain the finishing of a wall edge in an easy and suitable manner even if flooring materials in a variety of shapes are used.SOLUTION: An installation method is for installing hexagonal flooring materials which are in point symmetry and line symmetry and have internal angle of less than 180° with a first apex on the line symmetry axis, on a floor having a first wall surface, and comprises: a step for installing a plurality of hexagonal flooring material toward the first wall surface; a step for creating a rectangular wall edge finishing board circumscribing the hexagonal flooring material when an installed position in the close vicinity of the first wall surface is smaller than the hexagonal flooring material; and a first cutting step for cutting the flooring material. The first cutting step has sub-steps of: installing the first apex to be overlapped with an end point closer to the first wall surface out of the line segments in which two installed flooring materials are in contact to each other; overlapping the wall edge finishing board with the flooring material so that a certain side is in contact with the first wall surface; and cutting the flooring material at a cutting position along another side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】多様な形状の床材を用いた場合でも、壁際を簡便かつ好適に仕上げられるような敷設方法を提供する。【解決手段】敷設方法は、点対称かつ線対称かつ各内角が180°未満であり、線対称軸上に第1の頂点を有する六角形床材を、第1の壁面を有する床に敷設する方法であり、複数の六角形床材を第1の壁面に向けて敷設するステップと、第1の壁面のすぐ近くの敷設位置が六角形床材よりも小さい場合に、六角形床材に外接する長方形の壁際仕上げボードを作成するステップと、床材を切断する第1の切断ステップを有し、第1の切断ステップは、第1の頂点が、2つの敷設済み床材同士が接する線分のうち第1の壁面に近い端点と重なるように設置するサブステップと、壁際仕上げボードを所定の辺が第1の壁面に接するように床材に重ねるサブステップと、別の辺に沿った切断位置で床材を切断するサブステップとを有する。【選択図】図1
