PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous resin dispersion for a mortar, capable of exhibiting polymerization stability, long working life, excellent mortar-hardenability, and good waterproofness in a mortar for repairing materials, a mortar for finishing materials, a mortar for waterproofing, etc.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an aqueous resin dispersion for a mortar, comprising water and polymer particles, wherein the polymer particles comprise a copolymer of: methacrylonitrile (A); one or more polymerizable monomers (B) chosen from the group consisting of an aromatic vinyl monomer, a methacrylic acid alkyl ester monomer, and an acrylic acid alkyl ester monomer; and a polymerization monomer (C) that is copolymerizable with them.SELECTED DRAWING: None
