ALUMINA-BASED HEAT CONDUCTIVE OXIDE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alumina-based heat conductive oxide excellent in not only heat conductivity but also chemical resistance, waterproof property and electrical insulating property, as well as having a good kneadability (miscibility) to resin, capable of producing a material or article such as a resin composition having excellent moldability.SOLUTION: The alumina-based heat conductive oxide is obtained by firing a raw material mixture containing an aluminum raw material. The aluminum raw material is at least one selected from a group consisting of boehmite, aluminum hydroxide and alumina, the raw material mixture further contains an oxide raw material such as a boric acid compound and tungsten compound, and the content of the boric acid compound is 0.1 to 5 pts.mass and the content of the oxide raw material is 0.1 to 20 pts.mass in the raw material mixture with respect to 100 pts.mass of the aluminum raw material.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】熱伝導性のみならず、耐薬品性、耐水性、及び電気絶縁性に優れているとともに、樹脂への練り込み性(混和性)が良好であり、成形性に優れた樹脂組成物等の材料や物品を製造することが可能なアルミナ系熱伝導性酸化物を提供する。【解決手段】アルミニウム原料を含有する原料混合物を焼成して得られるアルミナ系熱伝導性酸化物である。アルミニウム原料が、ベーマイト、水酸化アルミニウム、及びアルミナからなる群より選択される少なくとも一種であり、原料混合物が、ホウ酸化合物と、タングステン化合物などの酸化物原料とをさらに含有し、原料混合物中、アルミニウム原料100質量部に対する、ホウ酸化合物の含有量が0.1〜5質量部であり、酸化物原料の含有量が0.1〜20質量部である。【選択図】なし
