PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet stool device and toilet seat device capable of detecting feces while giving consideration to privacy.SOLUTION: A toilet stool device 1 includes: a toilet stool main body 10 having a toilet bowl part 11 and a water reservoir part 12 continuing downward from the toilet bowl part 11; a detection section 20 having a sensor 21 where multiple light receiving elements (detection elements) are linearly arranged, so as to detect falling feces discharged into the toilet bowl part 11 at a predetermined time interval; and a determination section 30 for determining property of feces from line data (a detection result) detected by the detection section 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
