METHOD FOR USING MONOLITHIC REFRACTORY, METHOD FOR OPERATING MOLTEN STEEL TREATMENT EQUIPMENT, DESULFURIZATION METHOD FOR MOLTEN STEEL, AND PRETREATMENT METHOD FOR MOLTEN STEEL
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for using a monolithic refractory having high hot strength and in which deterioration in durability due to cracks and abrasion is suppressed, a method for operating molten steel treatment equipment, a desulfurization method for molten steel and a pretreatment method for molten steel.SOLUTION: When the monolithic refractory produced utilizing a silica sol as a binder is used at 1500°C or lower, the monolithic refractory is used in hot working while preventing the temperature of the monolithic refractory from being at 500°C or lower for 0.5 hour or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】熱間強度に優れ、亀裂や摩耗による耐用性の低下が抑えられた不定形耐火物の使用方法、溶銑処理設備の操業方法、溶銑の脱硫方法及び溶銑の予備処理方法を提供すること。【解決手段】バインダーとしてシリカゾルを用いて製作された不定形耐火物を1500℃以下で使用する際に、不定形耐火物の温度が、0.5時間以上、500℃以下とならないように、不定形耐火物を熱間で使用する。【選択図】なし
