VEHICLE OPENING/CLOSING BODY DRIVE CONTROL DEVICE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle opening/closing body drive control device which can pivot a back door in a smooth manner from an initial opening stage without generating unusual noise and which can realize an opening operation in a premium feeling manner.SOLUTION: A vehicle opening/closing body drive control device includes an opening portion formed in a vehicle body, an opening/closing body that opens and closes the opening portion, a weather strip provided between a periphery of the opening portion and the opening/closing body, driving means having an electric motor 6 to drive the opening/closing body, and control means for driving control of the electric motor 6 of the driving means. The control means executes a brake process for suppressing a rotational motion of the electric motor 6 when an elastic force applied from the weather strip causes the opening/closing body to start moving from a closed position thereof to an opened position side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
