PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock/unlock device capable of unlocking an electric lock even when a battery runs out while improving the appearance sensitivity of a door, and also capable of eliminating the need for a separate cover that is liable to be lost.SOLUTION: A lock/unlock device is configured to include a lock/unlock mechanism part mounted on a door 13 and caused, based on an electric signal, to be operated for a lock/unlock drive, a reader 33 which conducts a transmission and reception of the electric signal, whose front surface 35 and side surface front portion are exposed on a door surface 19 of the door 13 and which is supported by the door 13 so as to be movable back and forth in a direction projecting from the door surface 19, and a connector 71 which is attached to a concealed side surface exposed by a unit protruding from the door surface 19 and which is connected to an electric circuit for transmitting and receiving the electric signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
