PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wooden column base metal member that can prevent deterioration of workability.SOLUTION: A column base metal member 10 includes a pedestal portion 22 and a column receiving portion 23 detachably covering the pedestal portion 22 from above. The pedestal portion 22 includes a base member 24 having a bolt hole 27 and a column insertion member 25 extending upward from the base member 24. The column receiving portion 23 comprises a column receiving member 40 positioned above the base member 24 and having a front side portion 44 and a rear side portion 45 sandwiching the column insertion member 25 in the assembled state in which the column receiving portion 23 is covered with the pedestal portion 22, and a support member 50 extending downward from the column receiving member 40 and abutting against the base member 24 with the column receiving member 40 and the base member 24 spaced apart from each other in the vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
