PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge shaft device easy in mounting work of a door from an inner face side of a mounting plate portion, and fastening operation of an adjustment nut.SOLUTION: A hinge shaft device 1 includes a main body 2, a pivot 3, and a torque adjustment mechanism 4. The main body 2 is closely kept into contact with an inner face of a mounting plate portion 55 of a door 53 at one side face to be screwed. The pivot 3 is supported by the main body 2, and vertically penetrated through the main body 2, the mounting plate portion 55 and a mounting frame portion 52. The pivot 3 includes a fitting portion 3a which cannot be relatively rotated about a shaft and can be freely fitted to and separated from a fitting hole 52b of the mounting frame portion 52, a large diameter portion 3b kept into contact with one side face of the main body 2, and a screw rod portion 3c penetrated through the main body 2 to the other side face side. The torque adjustment mechanism 4 includes an adjustment nut 14 engaged with the screw rod portion 3c of the pivot 3, and a plurality of leaf springs 13 disposed between the adjustment nut 14 and the main body 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
