PAVEMENT UPKEEP AND REPAIR PLANNING FORMULATION SUPPORT DEVICE AND SUPPORT METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device and a support method which support easy and objective formulation of pavement upkeep and repair planning by automatically finding a place in need of repair and displaying the place on a map.SOLUTION: The problem described above is solved by providing a support device or a support method including the means or steps of: identifying whether or not a pattern present in a pickup image of a paved road surface is a crack in a hexagonal pattern; acquiring the position of the identified crack in a hexagonal pattern; setting a plurality of evaluation sections on a road to be managed; determining whether or not the crack in a hexagonal pattern is present within the evaluation section that has been set; and generating and outputting a map data which shows the evaluation section including the crack in a hexagonal pattern present therein with a signal indicating a place in need of repair.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
