PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for automatically opening/closing a trunk lid, a rear gate, or a door.SOLUTION: A system is configured to include an opening/closing motor 50 that drives a vehicle door for opening/closing the same, an operation section 30 that is to be operated by a user for causing the opening/closing motor 50 to operate, a state switching mechanism 70 that causes the operation section 30 to switch between a disabled state and an operable state, an antenna 20 for conducting wireless communication with an electronic key 21, an authentication system 11 for authenticating the electronic key 21 on the basis of a signal received by the antenna 20, and a controller 12 switching the operation section 30 to the operable state if the authentication system 11 authenticates the electronic key 21 and driving the opening/closing motor 50 to open/close the vehicle door if there is a user's operation for operating the opening/closing motor 50 from the operation section 30 within a specified time duration, which makes it possible for even the user whose both hands are full of baggage to put the baggage into the vehicle through the vehicle door.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
