To provide a wastewater treatment agent and a wastewater treatment method, enabling waste water containing a suspended matter such as polymer dispersion without requiring a special device or a facility, to be quickly solid-liquid separated into clean supernatant water and an aggregated precipitate, and enabling harmful heavy metal in the wastewater to be simultaneously removed.SOLUTION: A wastewater treating agent for treating wastewater containing at least a suspended matter, where the waste water treatment agent contains 100 pts. mass of calcium aluminate, 10 to 110 pts. mass of aluminum sulfate, 5 to 1500 pts. mass of lime, and 1 to 20 pts. mass of high molecular coagulant.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】特殊な装置や設備を必要とせず、ポリマーディスパージョン等の懸濁物質を含む廃水を迅速に清浄な上澄み水と凝集沈殿物に固液分離することができ、かつ廃水中の有害な重金属類も同時に除去することができる廃水処理剤及び廃水処理方法の提供。【解決手段】少なくとも懸濁物質を含む廃水を処理対象とする廃水処理剤であって、カルシウムアルミネート１００質量部、硫酸アルミニウム１０〜１１０質量部、石灰５〜１５００質量部及び高分子凝集剤１〜２０質量部を含有する廃水処理剤。【選択図】なし
