BACKUP FOR FAILURE OCCURRENCE IN EMERGENCY SHUTOFF VALVE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide spare means for a case where an original shutoff valve loses its functions, by combining float valves mechanically operating utilizing buoyancy of floats.SOLUTION: In a one-tank type or a two-tank integrated type distribution basin, each water storage tank of the two-tank integrated type distribution basin is connected in series by a communication pipe or outflow pipes from respective water storage tanks are connected in parallel, for outflow into a water distributing pipe. An emergency shut-off valve comprising a control device, a driving device and a shutoff valve is disposed in a water storage tank of either a one-tank type or two-tank integrated type distribution basin. The control device detects an emergency such as breakage or a possibility of breakage of a water distributing pipe of water service due to disaster such as an earthquake or an accident in a construction work, and transmits a control signal. The driving device is actuated by the control signal. The shutoff valve rotates a spindle by the driving device and intercepts water flow in the water distributing pipe. As a separate body from the emergency shut-off valve, a float valve adjusting opening degree of the valve according to the lowering of water level and intercepting the water flow in the water distributing pipe is connected with the emergency shut-off valve in series.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】フロートの浮力を利用して機械的に動作するフロート弁を組合せて本来の遮断弁が機能を喪失した場合の予備手段とする。【解決手段】1槽又は2槽の配水池において、2槽の配水池の各貯水槽を連通管により直列に接続して或いは各貯水槽からの流出管を並列に接続して配水管へ流出するとともに、地震等の災害や建設工事における事故によって水道の配水管の破損又は破損する恐れのような緊急事態を感知して制御信号を送信する制御装置、制御信号により作動する駆動装置、駆動装置によりスピンドルを回転動作させ配水管内の水流を遮断する遮断弁を有する緊急遮断弁を1槽又は2槽の配水池の何れか一方の貯水槽に配置し、緊急遮断弁とは別体に、水位の低下に応じてバルブの開度を調整して配水管内の水流を遮断するフロート弁を緊急遮断弁に直列接続したことを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
