OIL FENCE, CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF OIL FENCE AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING FLOATING MATTER FROM FLOWING OUT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil fence capable of preventing a floating matter flowing down in a running water area from flowing out to a downstream side.SOLUTION: An oil fence 30 for preventing a floating matter 50 flowing down in a running water area from flowing out to a downstream side is provided with: (1) a water shut-off fence 31 having an underwater soaked part 31a soaked in the water at a predetermined waterline D, and arranged along a transverse direction in the running water area in such a condition that at least an upstream side face 31aof the underwater soaked part 31a is substantially perpendicular to the water surface; and (2) a drawing flow generation area coating member 32 arranged along the water shut-off fence 31 at an upstream part of the water shut-off fence 31 and covering a water surface of a drawing flow generation area γ at the upstream part of the water shut-off fence 31 in a belt-like shape along the water shut-off fence 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
