SELF-CLOSING TYPE SLIDING DOOR DEVICE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably acquire a reliable brake force by a free stopper mechanism.SOLUTION: A self-closing type sliding door device includes: a sliding door body for opening/closing an opening; a rail installed along a top side of the opening and for guiding the sliding door body; automatic closing means for energizing the sliding door body to a door end side; and a free stopper mechanism 31A for braking the sliding door body at an arbitrary position and maintaining it in an open state. The free stopper mechanism 31A includes: a brake member 41 rotated around a rotary shaft orthogonal to the opening/closing direction of the sliding door body; and rotating and energizing members 33F, 33R for rotating and energizing the brake member 41 in a neutral attitude. The brake member brakes the sliding door body by biting into a top surface part 20U and a bottom surface travel part 20D of the rail 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1C
