PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water discharge sump whose structure is simple and manufacturing cost is low, and which can solve clogging of a suction port of a submerged pump, and to provide a sump water discharge method.SOLUTION: A water discharge sump 10 at least includes: a first cylindrical body 1 having a first bottom plate 1a and including a plurality of water holes 1b at a predetermined height; a pedestal 2 placed on the first bottom plate 1a; and a submerged pump 3 which is placed on the pedestal 2 and on which a drain hose 5 is mounted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
