PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescopic lock device in a telescopic leg device arranged in a high place work device.SOLUTION: An operation mechanism (25) situated upward of a telescopic lock mechanism (24) with a lock body (44) for locking detachably to a rack gear of a telescopic leg and having an operation lever (35), coupling means (26) capable of a linear movement in a vertical direction as well as for coupling the operation mechanism and the telescopic lock mechanism, and a spring (54) for energizing the coupling means downward are provided and it is in a configuration in which the lock body (44) is detached from a rack gear (23a) by a traction of the coupling means (26) upward by the operation of the operation lever and a motion direction conversion mechanism (27) consisting of actuating means (47) for a linear movement in a vertical direction along with the coupling means between a lower end of the coupling means and the telescopic lock mechanism, rotating means (48) extending from the lock body at opposite side of the lock gear and gradient arm means (49) of which both ends pivoted to the actuation means and the rotating means respectively are arranged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
