To provide an important object management device capable of enhancing convenience.SOLUTION: An important object management device includes: a holder 202 inserted into a through hole 222 of an important object 201 and connected to the important object 201; and a device main body 12 having a holding portion 205 to which the holder 202 is detachably mounted and which locks the holder 202 in a mounted state. The important object 201 includes a portable storage medium 201 for storing electronic data.
