To provide a composite sound absorbing material capable of flexibly bending and easily attaching to a mounting surface.SOLUTION: A composite sound absorbing material 1 comprises a projecting plate 10 having a plurality of protrusions 22 in which each protrusion 22 is hollow, a shielding plate 12 provided on the open side of the plurality of protrusions 22. And at least either of the protruding plate 10 and the shielding plate 12, a first sound absorbing layer 18 provided with holes 16 respectively communicating with a plurality of spaces 24 formed by the respective cavities of the plurality of protrusions 22 and a second sound absorbing layer 14 which is provided on the surface of the first sound absorbing layer 18 on the side of the holes 16 are provided and is composed of a porous material or a fibrous material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
