CONCRETE SHEET PILE MEMBER, EARTH RETAINING WALL AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING EARTH RETAINING WALL
To improve the appearance quality of an earth retaining wall that uses a steel material having flanges at both ends of a web as a soldier pile, and to improve the durability of the soldier pile.SOLUTION: An earth retaining wall 1 comprises a plurality of soldier piles 2 made of steel material, each of which has flanges 2b at both ends of a web 2a. A concrete sheet pile member 3, which is installed between soldier piles 2 adjacent to each other, is provided with a first protrusion 3a and a second protrusion 3b. The first protrusion 3a extends, when being installed between soldier piles 2 adjacent to each other, in a width direction W at both ends of the concrete sheet pile member 3 in the width direction so as to be positioned inside a flange 2b of a soldier pile 2. The second protrusion 3b extends, when being installed between soldier piles 2 adjacent to each other, in the width direction W in at least one of the ends of the concrete sheet pile member 3 in the width direction so as to cover the whole outside of a flange 2b of a soldier pile 2 that is not embedded in a ground and is exposed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
