EARTH RETAINING TIMBERING STRUCTURE
To provide an earth retaining timbering structure capable of suppressing downward deflection occurring at a center in a longitudinal direction of a cutting beam with a simple structure and securing a long scale of the cutting beam.SOLUTION: An earth retaining timbering structure includes at least a pair of wales and one or a plurality of cutting beams 3 arranged in a longitudinal direction so as to bridge between the pair of wales. The cutting beam 3 is disposed so as to have a substantially arcuate shape which is convex upward as a whole at least at the time of installation. When connecting the plurality of cutting beams 3, a shim plate 7 for keeping the spacing between upper end edges of end faces 31 wider than the spacing between lower end edges of the end faces 31 is inserted into at least a part between the end faces 31 of the cutting beams 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
