STEEL PIPE JOINT STRUCTURE FOR PILE CONSTRUCTION
To provide a steel pipe joint structure which can transfer huge rotational torque as a steel pipe joint structure to joint short steel pipes to each other upon a pile construction which includes a process to penetrate a steel pipe like a steel pipe pile, etc. using a rotary press-inn method.SOLUTION: A steel pipe joint structure is manufactured by securely welding flanges 3, 4 capable of jointing with a bolt to each other with an end of one steel pipe 1 and an end of the other steel pipe 2 to be jointed respectively, wherein each of the flanges 3, 4 is provided with a plurality of (two in an illustrated example) convex parts (fan-shaped convex parts 6) capable of abutting to each other in a rotational direction on a doughnut-like flange base (flange base plate 5). As both of the flanges 3, 4 abut to each other at the convex parts 6, the huge rotational torque can be transferred, even when connected with small diameter bolts, which is different from a case of jointing simple flat plate flanges to each other with bolts. A width of a flange projecting from an outer peripheral surface need not to be much wider.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】鋼管杭等のように鋼管を地盤に回転圧入により貫入する工程を伴う杭施工の際に、短尺の鋼管同士を接合する鋼管接合構造として、大きな回転トルクを伝達可能な鋼管接合構造を提供する。【解決手段】接合すべき一方の鋼管1の端部と他方の鋼管2の端部とに、互いにボルト接合可能なフランジ3、4をそれぞれ溶接固定してなり、各フランジ3、4はドーナツ形のフランジ基部(フランジ基板5)上に、回転方向に互いに当接可能な複数(図示例では2つ)の凸部(扇形凸部6)を設ける。両フランジ3、4は凸部6において互いに当接するので、単なる平板フランジ同士をボルト接合する構造と異なり、小径ボルトでボルト接合しても大きな回転トルクの伝達が可能となる。鋼管外周面から張り出すフランジ幅をあまり広くせずに済む。【選択図】図3
