To provide a folding type door device capable of quickly changing a door panel from a panel closed state to a panel opened state in a short time.SOLUTION: A folding type door device includes a first folding door 12 having a first door end panel 18 and a first door tail panel 20 and a second folding door 13 having a second door end panel 31 and a second door tail panel 33. Each of the folding doors 12 and 13 is disposed within a door support frame body 10 in an open/close manner. The folding type door device includes first door lock means 41 and second door lock means 42 which lock the folding doors 12 and 13 into a panel closed state P1 and unlocks the panel closed state for allowing the respective door panels 18, 20, 31 and 33 to freely pivot, and first opener means 81 and second opener means 82 which push the first and second door tail panels 20 and 33 in the direction of pivot rotation with the unlocking operations of the first and second door lock means 41 and 42 to bring the folding doors 12 and 13 into a half-open state from the door closed state P1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
