GATE DRIVING DEVICE IN SELF-WEIGHT DESCENDING TYPE GATE FACILITY
To prevent reduction in a gate descending speed due to an idling of a motor.SOLUTION: A gate driving device 1 is used for a self-weight descending type gate facility 10 comprising a gate driving shaft 12 elevating and lowering a gate 11, and descending state changing means 13 for changing a descending state between a non-self-weight descending state in which the gate 11 does not descend by self-weight and a self-weight descending state in which the gate descends by self-weight. The gate driving device comprises: a motor 2; and a clutch mechanism 3 interposed between a motor output shaft 2a of the motor 2 and the gate driving shaft 12. The clutch mechanism 3 includes: a one-way clutch 5 transmitting only the torque in a descending direction between the motor output shaft 2a and the gate driving shaft 12; a bypass clutch 6 which is arranged together with the one-way clutch 5, which bypasses the one-way clutch 5 in a connection, and which transmits both of a torque in an ascending direction and a torque in a descending direction between the motor output shaft 2a and the gate driving shaft 12; and bypass clutch changing means 7 which changes between the connection and the release of the bypass clutch 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
