To provide a reinforcing material and a reinforcing structure that reinforce a joint portion of RC members and that facilitate construction of the joint portion.SOLUTION: A reinforcing material 1 is used at a joint portion of a bottom slab and a side wall of a box culvert, the reinforcing material 1 having a reinforcing plate 11 for reinforcing the joint portion, and a formwork 13 that is provided at a corner of the periphery of the reinforcing plate 11 and that is used at the time of installing concrete in the joint portion. The reinforcing plate 11 is substantially orthogonal to the formwork 13, and a plurality of the reinforcing plates 11 are provided substantially in parallel so as to be spaced along the longitudinal direction of the formwork 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
