To provide a capacitor structure for high-power applications which has low ESL and ESR values and mechanical and thermal robustness.SOLUTION: A capacitor structure 13 has external contacts. The external contacts include solder layers 72 outside an external electrode part, metallic grids 71 outside the solder layers, and metallic contact plates 70 further outside the metallic grids. A plurality of housing parts 73 together with screws 74 form a clamping structure, such that the housing parts press the metallic contact plates onto a ceramic multilayer capacitor 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
