To provide an additive for concrete capable of delaying the time until the functional development of various functional materials and to provide a method for producing the additive.SOLUTION: There is provided an additive for concrete which comprises a functional material 1 and a resin layer 2 containing a resin which coats the functional material 1 and has a vapor permeability of 200 g/mday or less, wherein preferably, the functional material 1 is at least one selected from an expansion agent, a thickener, a setting and hardening modifier, a rust preventive agent, a blowing agent, a foaming agent, a fiber reinforcing agent, a polymer admixture, and a silica admixture accelerator, and more preferably, the resin layer 2 contains at least one specific resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】様々な機能性材料の、機能発現までの時間を遅くすることが可能な、コンクリート用添加剤、及びこの添加剤の製造方法の提供。【解決手段】機能性材料１と、機能性材料１を被覆し、水蒸気透過度が２００ｇ／ｍ２・ｄａｙ以下である樹脂を含む樹脂層２とを備える、コンクリート用添加剤。好ましくは、機能性材料１が、膨張剤、増粘剤、凝結・硬化調整剤、防錆剤、発泡剤、気泡剤、繊維質補強剤、ポリマー混和剤及びシリカ質混和剤促進剤から選ばれる少なくとも1種である、コンクリート添加剤。更に好ましくは、樹脂層２が、特定の樹脂を少なくとも1種含むコンクリート用添加剤。【選択図】図１
