To provide a wall built-in stop cock allowing a stop cock body to be easily and accurately installed after construction of a wall using the wall face thereof as a reference face.SOLUTION: A wall built-in stop cock comprises: a stop cock body having a water discharge port connecting a feed water pipe to a feed water destination apparatus such as a toilet on a front face side facing a wall, and a valve operation part for opening/closing an inner water passage to the water discharge port; a mounting box disposed on a rear side of the wall and horizontally slidably storing the stop cock body along the thickness direction of the wall; and a positioning stay having a base part fixed to the front face side of the stop cock body from an indoor side via an opening for work penetrating through the wall, and having a wall receiving part capable of abutting on the indoor side wall face around the opening of the wall integrally with the base part. By making the wall receiving part of the positioning stay abut on the indoor side wall face of the wall by sliding the stop cock body, protrusion amounts of the water discharge port and the valve operation part to the indoor side are specified using the indoor side wall face as a reference face.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
