To provide a runner for realizing a miniaturization of a hanger rail and a moving partition device including the runner.SOLUTION: A runner 200 that is movable along an inner wall of a hanger rail 100 includes an upper roller 242 and a lower roller 244 which are vertically spaced and supported in a pivot manner by a support shaft 220 for supporting a panel 300 and are in abutment with an upper rib 142a and a lower rib 144b, respectively, which extend from the inner wall of the hanger rail 100 in a vertically offset manner. An upper end of the lower roller 244 is spaced from the upper rib 142a and is provided at a position vertically overlapping with the upper rib 142a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
