To provide a manufacturing method of a hydration accelerator capable of effectively using waste and/or byproduct and accelerating a hydration reaction of cement.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a hydration accelerator uses waste and/or byproduct as at least a part of raw materials, synthesizes at least one of silicate hydrates of hydrogarnet hydrate and magnesium silicate, and/or a hydrate containing tobermorite by a hydrothermal reaction, and vulcanizes the hydrate to have a content of particles with a particle diameter of 4.5 μm or less of 50 vol.% or less, and a content of particles with a particle diameter of 10 μm or more of 15 vol.% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
