To provide a gable side precedence handrail capable of reducing possibility of falling of a worker as much as possible.SOLUTION: A gable side precedence handrail 10 comprises: an upper handrail member 100 where locking members 110 are provided at both ends; a lower handrail member 200 where locking members 210 are provided at both ends; a pair of shaft members 400 mounted to rotate for each of the upper handrail member 100 and the lower handrail member 200 at one end side and the other end side of the upper handrail member 100 and the lower handrail member 200; and holding members 500 which are provided at each of the pair of shaft members 400, and which holds hook members 600 including locking members 610 and rotates around axes of the shaft members.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
