To provide a method of repairing the surface wear of a CMC component.SOLUTION: The method of repairing a ceramic matrix composite or a method of repairing an object member composed of a ceramic matrix composite comprising a ceramic fiber as a reinforcement, comprises a removal step of removing at least a part of the surface of the object member, an arrangement step of arranging a repair green body containing the ceramic fiber on the removed part removed in the removal step, an impregnation step of impregnating at least the part of the object member whereon the repair green body has been arranged, with slurry, and a calcination step of calcining the object member whereon the repair green body has been arranged, subsequent to the impregnation step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
