BLOCK UNIT FOR RETAINING WALL, AND RETAINING WALL
To provide a block unit for a retaining wall and a retaining wall which realizes weight saving while maintaining strength, which has a simple structure, and which can be manufactured at low cost.SOLUTION: A retaining wall is constituted of block units 10 for a retaining wall, which comprises a concrete front wall 12, a rear wall 14, a connection body 16, and a connection means 18. The rear wall is disposed with facing the front wall 12 so as to keep a space between the front wall 12 for placing an in-filling concrete. The connection body comprises an abutment shoulder portion 36 being in contact with each of inner face sides of the front wall 12 and the rear wall 14, and is constituted of a rigid body connecting the front wall 12 and the rear wall 14. The connection means includes a base plate 44 whose part is integrally buried in each of the front wall 12 and the rear wall 14; and which is respectively protruded toward a direction facing with the connection body 16. The connection means connects the base plate 44 with the abutment shoulder portion 36 of the connection body 16 with horizontally penetrating them, in a state where the abutment shoulder portion 36 of the connection body 16 is in contact with each of the inner face sides of the front wall 12 and the rear wall 14, and a side face of the connection body 16 is in contact with base plate 44.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
