To provide a straightness confirmation method which can confirm straightness when multiple parts are arranged into a linear shape.SOLUTION: A straightness confirmation method includes: a step of putting up pins at both ends of a linear component 13 of multiple parts 10 to confirm straightness arranged into a linear shape, and putting up a pin with cutout 52 that a cutout 523 is formed at one part of the side surface at intermediate part of both ends; a step of fixing one end and another end of a linear material 61 respectively to the pins of both ends; a step of making a non-cutout formed side wall 524 which is a side part of the pin with cutout 52 without the cutout 523 contact to the intermediate part of the linear material 61; and a step of rotating the pin with cutout 52 and checking vibration of the linear material 61 caused by rotation of the pin with cutout 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
